Do You Know Jesus?

Maybe you’ve said, “Yes of course I do!” or maybe “Well I know Christmas and Easter are holidays we celebrate Him.”

Did you know you can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? It’s true! God wants you to know He loves and cares deeply for you, and He desires more than anything for you to realize His purpose in creating you. He wishes for you to have peace and contentment in your life every day. Are you not at peace? Do you have trouble that you haven’t found the answer to?

“I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” —John 10:10 (NKJV)

The Truth is simple. God created us in His own image to share fellowship with Him and live a life of abundance. God in His grace gave us free will to choose to follow Him and Adam disobeyed. This ‘fall of man’ has separated us from God, but He is good!

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” —Romans 6:23 (NKJV)

Maybe you’ve tried working harder. Maybe you’ve tried your best to be a better person, but remember that God is good. He has made a way for us to be in fellowship with Him again. Jesus.

”But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” —Romans 5:8 (NKJV)

God made a way for all mankind to know Him again, but we must each make the choice for Jesus. How do we do that?

Ask God to forgive you of sin. Repent, which means, to change your old way of thinking and your behavior to match God’s will. Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died on the cross for your sin, and that He rose again 3 days later. In prayer ask Jesus to be the leader and guider in your life. Ask the Holy Spirit to come and help you in all things.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” —Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV)

Often we think it should be harder to meet with God, but in truth, He desires to fellowship with us always. This is the first step in a wonderful walk that will lead you to places of peace and rest. If you invited Jesus into your life for the first time we’d love to hear from you. Please call or fill out the form below, and we will send you a packet that will help you in your new walk with God. For your next steps we suggest reading the bible for a few minutes each day. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand and remember verses. Pray daily. This might seem daunting until you realize prayer just means communication. Talk to God daily. Ask Him what to do that day. If you have problems ask for His help.
